It's been four years and one day since I've posted to my blog! I may have forgotten how to do it! I hope not! There has been a lot happen during the past four years. Most of it good...some of it not so good, but I'm still here...so I guess it's mostly good! I'm planning a parachute jump in May! Several of my friends are going with me, and I'm still nagging some others...trying to get them to go with us. All of these people are highly skilled and compassionate medical professionals of one type or another who have been involved in caring for me over the years! One....Elaine...has actually saved my life. I tease her that my wife, Marsha, says she should have minded her own business! :-) I see Elaine two or three times a week at Upper Valley Medical Center here in Troy, Ohio where I go to Pulmonary Rehab. I'm sure that sometimes she wishes she had done what Marsha says! :-D Below is a video of Elaine in the air when we made our last jump. It was her first jump and she liked it so well that she is going with me again. I have considerable experience jumping and the last jump was my first tandem jump. I nearly didn't go, but I wanted my grandchildren to see a video of me jumping. It was exciting for them! Watch the video and perhaps you will wish to go jump yourself! http://www.lifepursuitvideo.com/asppublic/Video45036.aspx?VF=62381#.VskA5seYei5 Here are pictures of the folks that are going with me! First is Elaine, an RN and lead nurse at Pulmonary Rehab, then in order of appearance are: Tracy, a Respiratory Therapist, Jackie, an RN, Kris, also an RN, Paul, the Fireman and EMT, who, by the way, is coming from South Padre Island, Texas, by way of Troy, Montana to make the jump with us. Then, there is Irina Gendler, who is my family doctor and who may or may not make the jump. I'm hoping she will!
Well....looking at the preview of this attempt of blogging again, I see I got the pictures a bit out of kilter, but I'm going let it go. I don't claim to be an expert at this stuff! :-)
